Hoy por fin pudimos conocer la lista de nominados al premio más importante del Séptimo Arte: los premios Óscar 2022 con algunas sorpresas y otras que estaban dentro de lo esperado.

El poder del perro protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch lidera las nominaciones en 12 categorías, seguida por Duna en carrera con 10 nominaciones. Será el 27 de marzo cuando conoceremos a los ganadores.

Chile de nuevo rumbo al Óscar

Una feliz noticia es que el cortometraje chileno «Bestia» dirigido por Hugo Covarrubias recibió una nominación como Mejor cortometraje animado. La cinta está basado en la vida de Íngrid Olderöck, agente de inteligencia durante la dictadura de augusto Pinochet.

Bestia se une al selecto grupo de nominados a los premios de la Academia que ha tenido nuestro país en los últimos años: “No” (2012, nominada a Mejor película extranjera), “Una mujer fantástica” (2017, ganadora de Mejor película extranjera), “Historia de un oso” (2015, ganadora de Mejor corto animado) y “El agente topo” (2021, nominada a Mejor documental).
